Mats also fulfill a decorative function in addition to their practical purpose. In the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom ... soft and more attractive mats are often chosen. We believe that this is the right choice as it usually does not end with stubborn dirt.

How to maintain your mats

Weekly maintenance

We recommend vacuuming the mat on a weekly basis. Dust and dirt settle easily and quickly into the yarns of the mat. A powerful vacuum cleaner preferably with a rotating brush are the solution to ensure that dirt does not accumulate. Furthermore, the mat also looks as new in a few minutes because the suction force of the vacuum cleaner straightens the yarns again.

Maintenance twice a year

In order to keep the mat clean in the long term, we advise cleaning the mat twice a year. All our mats can be washed at a temperature of 30°. Important to take into account is the type of backing, in our assortment a distinction is made between a machine washable backing and an washable backing. Not all mats can be washed in the machine therefore we recommend always reading the label carefully.

Incidental stains

It is always possible that incidental stains occur. In this case, we recommend taking action as soon as possible. Take a damp cloth or sponge with lukewarm water and rub the stain carefully. If the stain does not disappear in this way, we recommend using a special stain remover, identical to products used for clothing. It is very important to let the mat dry properly after washing out the stain.

Maintenance vinyl mats

In our range we also offer vinyl mats. These mats are even more user-friendly and can be cleaned very quickly. Start by vacuuming to remove the largest dirt. After that, take a cloth and a little water to make the mats completely clean.
